They say New York City is the city that never sleeps. Honestly, it's bullshit!! All Shops were closed at 7 or 8pm and by the time we got up and get ready, it would be 3.30pm. Sometimes we'll reach the city even later due to travelling time and lunch. We didnt feel the rush to get up and explore early as we kept thinking we have many more days ahead but we were wrong. didnt manage to watch more broadways or do more stuff.
The only reason why it never sleeps is due to the lights at times square and how it's filled with tons n tons of tourists hanging around and doing nothing. And that's how we spent our days in new york, just slacking by times square chatting and people watching. Do u even realised there r no shopping bags in these pictures taken on both days. Oh! do you even realise the policemen are hitting on young chicks or taking pictures with tourist that wants a snapshot. such an easy job to be petrolling at Times SQ
Subways were very confusing which made us appreciate singapore alot more. Different train stations go to different places so we ended up walking and walking instead of getting the train. We could walk from 9th street to 50th street or even further. we had so much time once all the shops were close so we'll walk from streets to streets till we decide to head home near midnight. And every night, our feets ache so much due to the insane amount of walking. I didnt expect that at first and i brought 2 high heels as i wanted to be dressy but everyone in NY wears slippers as they hardly drive.
What matters was the company of me and him in a foreign land and it just finally hit me that i doubt there'll be another opportunity for us to travel for a long period of time together again. :(

can you please let me know what eye shadow you use? what brand and colour? thanks :)
i use MAC eyeshadow in 'velvet' when i do smokey eyes. i usually put more when i go out at night so its really dark. in the above pictures, i put lesser so it's towards the grey side.

what kind of perm is that may i ask? i'm so afraid they'll perm it like a poodle! any particular stylist??
i have been perming my hair for many years. i cant really remember which perm i did this time round. it's either digital or ceremic tho i cant tell the difference.
of all my perm at different jean yip outlets, this is the best results. parkway. look for ivy. | |
